ΚΟΥΒΕΝΤΟΛΟΙ , 2025
Starting from the idea of creating a personalised souvenir from my own memory, this two-metre-tall mechanical sculpture has elements reminiscent of that. With a mechanically controlled, strumming hand and a bobbing foot, this giant bubble head acts like physical amortisation of the figure of the musician. From the wooden platform bellow, there is a faint, crackling recording playing, taken from a night at my fathers tavern in 2017: “Κουβεντολόι”, Ταβέρνα-Ουζερί
This piece appeared in Grand Theatre in 2025 in the exhibition Off-Stage
Visualising the past and future of theatre through Time Based media with a collection of installations, combining both the analog and digital world. The audience can experience the connection between the mind and body both on and off-stage.
